He becomes a master at building and fixing radios, a talent that wins him a place at an elite and brutal military academy and, ultimately, makes him a highly specialized tracker of the Resistance. Werner travels through the heart of Hitler Youth to the far-flung outskirts of Russia, and finally into Saint-Malo, where his path converges with Marie-Laure.

Brilliant
Beautifully written and lovely performance. I really enjoyed this book, it's a wonderful story! Recommend it!

Great book but a bit difficult to follow
Moving story, Marie-Laure is amazing. However, I listened in my car and the story was difficult to follow in fragments. The chapter titles give away too much. The Reader's French accent needs to be improved. I recommened the book to someone who listens more regularly.

great story
Great and captivating story from ww2. The readers' French pronounciation is poor and this can be irritating since there are quite a few words read in French . But if you are not half French as I am you probably won't notice. I really recommend this book.

Excellent
An excellent audio book to have along with this phenomenal novel!!!
I highly recommend it for those who like to listen to an audio book while reading a book.
