À propos de ce contenu audio
In the wake of the Dropsite Massacre at Isstvan V, the survivors of the Salamanders Legion searched long and hard for their fallen primarch, but to no avail. Little did they know that while Vulkan might have wished himself dead, he lives still...languishing in a hidden cell for the entertainment of a cruel gaoler, his brother Konrad Curze.
Enduring a series of hellish tortures designed to break his body and spirit, Vulkan witnesses the depths of the Night Haunter's depravity but also discovers something else - a revelation that could change the course of the entire war.

Vulkan doesn't get enough credit for what he's done and I blame TTS for that, he's not a cuddly bear but an absolute beast that can f*ck sh*t up when needed.
The narrator was really good during the whole audio.
A must-have for the Drop Site Massacre and its immediate aftermath from the pov of Salamanders, mainly focused on lore rather than pure action.
The end is satisfying yet inconclusive as it sets up for the next Vulkan book
Highly recommend it 80/100
++ Beginning Spoilers++
The book treats the obvious PTSD that a lot of survivors of the Shattered Legions felt, and even though I feel like Shattered Legions (the book) did it best, this one focuses more on the Salamanders than the Xth.
It's great to see the inner workings of Vulkan's mind while he's being tortured by Kurze.

Good look into the psyche of Primarchs & Astartes
