Description

Once the brightest star in the Imperium and always first among his primarch brothers, Horus has dragged the Space Marine Legions into the bloodiest conflict that the galaxy has ever seen. While their allies wage war on a thousand different fronts, the XVIth Legion descend upon the Knight world of Molech - home to the ruling House Devine, and a principle stronghold of the Imperial Army.

The forces loyal to the Emperor stand ready to defy the Warmaster, but just what could have drawn Horus to attack such a well defended planet, and what might he be willing to sacrifice to fulfill his own dark destiny?

Like Father like Son

Great look into the journey of Horus going from manipulated rebel to full on Chaos Primarch.

Not my favorite HH Book

The book is neither good nor bad it's just alright. You have a lot of information/factions/characters who play larger roles in the HH series and this book does explain some of the missing links in the HH... however, compared to other books I felt that this one was just overshadowed by them. Still a good book to read/listen to but not up there with the first 4 in the series.

Awesome!

This is my favorite book out of the whole series. It sheds some light on certain topics and it has its own twists 10/10 would recommend especially if you like Horus

A pretty good book, but I might be biased😉

A damn good addition to the heresy series, full of feelz.
Only thing that is bothering me is how Garviel Loken is alive, i remember that we dont see a dead body back in the 3rd book, but maybe i missed something or they dont really explane how they found him?

On a side note, as a Dane having the stories of H.C. Andersen be shown in 40k, and explisedly written in danish filled me with a national pride that i rarely feel,
Fuck yeah the things that denmark is most famous for is Vikings, one if the best poets/story writer in history AKA H. C. Andersen, a important Philosopher AKA Søren Kierkegaard, and we have one of the most socially equal countries in the world, FUCK YEAH WE RULE!
XD erhm its a good book😋

Yet another great book

The narration really brings the characters to life and the story is excellent. I am amazed at how all these novels tie together. Well done.

good performance

I wish the characters were more likeable. but I didn't like most of them. Horus, the phoenician and mortarion were ok. so was Locken Rubio and the spacewolf. But most of the imperial regiment were very very forgetable. The story or objective first both horus and the grey knights should've been more meaningful. the way it was explained , that is the execution of the narration should have been more dire or elevated a little more.

Good story.

To hell with Horus and his little dog Abbadon. Will make his death all the greater at the Siege of Terra.

Seamus is here

Gareth is my favorite of the horus Jersey narrators his voices sound gritty and hard how I imagine the voice of a warrior bound to a life of eternal war should sound
