À propos de ce contenu audio

Recalled from the Great Crusade after Ullanor, Rogal Dorn and the VIIth Legion were appointed as the Emperor's praetorians - but only after the Warmaster's treachery was revealed did the full extent of that sacred duty become apparent.

Now, the Solar System comes under attack for the first time since the war began, and many of the seemingly impregnable defences wrought by the Imperial Fists prove inadequate. With all eyes fixed firmly upon this new threat beyond the gates of Terra, who in turn will protect Dorn from the enemy within?

    from the narrator to the story, 6 star out of 5, a mist listen without a doubt

    one of the best

    It's very good, however it is pretty slow to pick up the (interesting) action, with it only starting in the last third of the book. I don't really have any complaints with the book, it's very solid and enjoyable, and there are really too few Imperial Fists book.
    Jonathan Keeble does a really good job at it, as always, however, while I get that astropaths are scary and all, you don't have to actually make them painful to listen to. There isn't really any complicated story or thought behind it, but it's really good bolter porn & it's interesting to see the dynamics between the Alpha Legion and the Fists.
    88/100

    ++Beginning Spoilers++
    It's really interesting to see how the hubris and overly-complex schemes of the Alpha Legion eventually leads to their own doom as they over-complicate everything and end up lost themselves.
    And to the Alpha Legion stans still coping about it, it's very very obvious and clear that Alpharius actually dies..

    A very good Heresy novel
