The story starts with the same events as the last book but from Garro's view. Then it picks up a little, then clams, them picks up again. I found myself less hooked than with the previous ones but very very interested in finishing it!
Gotta build the characters up after all.

Great audiobook, with a nice performance. It serves to have a 2nd and different view on events related in the previous HH book. Also it is nice as an introduction to the Death Guard and what they will become thanks to Nurgle...

I cannot overstate how insanely cool this novel is. It grips you from the first to the last moment, and after 12 hours, it felt as if I'd only listened to some minutes.
Probably the best book ever made in the 40k universe.
100% recommend it, the three books that come before are kinda necessary though. Solid 10/10

The book is partly "Galaxy in Flames" but from another point of view. This is a really great idea and lets you be in known territory for a time, before throwing you out in the Warp with the Eisenstein. A few chapters are a little slow but overall, a really great HH book.
