An excellent book and the best I've listen to so far. Expect some big reveals about the 40k universe and lore. The plot is pretty solid and entertaining and get better and better along the book. If you are going to read 3 or 4 books in the horus heresy, this one is a must be.

This has to be one of the best Heresy books there are. The plot is really interesting and starts the whole Grammaticus story. I'm surprised I like it so much as I'm usually a loyalist, but this really had me rooting for the Alpha Legion. And while the first books of the Heresy are usually pretty weak (except for Flight Of The Eisenstein, my beloved), this one is incredibly solid.

The narrator is very good and I have nothing to say about his performance.
