if you need some motivation and want to learn about selling, then you should listen to this book. I highly recommend it.

I don't enjoy listening to him, I really forced myself to finish it and he doesn't represent the type of sales person I want to be. His style is all about hammering and no grace/subtlety. I'm a woman selling technology in a fortune 500 and there's not much I can retain from this book apart from "work hard to get what you want". not rocket science.
if I followed his advice such as following up every day on every opp I would be blacklisted from my enterprise accounts.
The lack of nuance is appalling. I don't think he's targeting a very emotionally intelligent audience.
The story about how he sold himself to his wife was kind of cute, if that's true, and that's the highlight of the book.
