The whole of the magnificent Riftwar Cycle by best-selling author Raymond E. Feist, master of magic and adventure, now available in ebook.

For nearly a year peace reigned in the enchanted kingdom of Rillanon. But new challenges awaited Arutha, the Prince of Krondor, when Jimmy the Hand - the youngest thief in the Guild of Mockers - came upon a sinister Nighthawk poised to assassinate him.

What evil power raises the dead and makes corpses do battle with the living at the behest of the Guild of Death? And what high magic can defeat it?

Meanwhile, a life-or-death quest must be undertaken to find an antidote to a poison that fells a beautiful princess on her wedding day…

Listen to it if you've read it

I've read the book 30 times at least and I still heard new things. I decided to restart the whole series on Audible and am enjoying every hour I'm stuck in traffic.

A wonderful adventure.

Loved this book. Loved the narration. There were however areas in the narration where sections were repeated (eg: End of Chapter 8). An issue with how the recordings were saved perhaps? Distraction aside, it was still wonderful.

It's an excellent story and fantastically narrated

However there are some editing issues as there are at least 3 paragraphs that are repeated.

Silverthorn

A strong beginning followed by a slightly lower tuned ending, is my summation of this novella. Overall i realy enyoy this book but i feel its ending is a bit rushed and abrupt, and lacks propper intrigue. That said it is a marvelous book i whuld say and the characters are very collorfull. I whuld highly recomend it for everyone.

one of the classics

If you could sum up Silverthorn in three words, what would they be?

read it again. this book is part of the original set, and takes you through the beginnings of pug's story. you start to relate to the characters from a very young age and watch them grow.

What other book might you compare Silverthorn to and why?

non so far. i haven't followed any other series as much as i have followed this one.

What three words best describe Peter Joyce’s performance?

ok. maybe he should steer away from some of his voice overs. i always imagined someone to have a deep voice. but he gave them a high pitched squeaky voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

always at the end when the royalty are giving rewards
