A collection of poems and stories by writers in UNESCO cities Nottingham and Baghdad. Written as 6 duets, this unique12 part audio series, captures the voices and experiences of artists from the bank of the River Trent to the Tigris, transporting the listener to cities 3,346 miles and a world apart.

The company began in 1973 with a clear objective: to bring an urgent story to a new audience. Through interviews with founding members Artistic Directors, including stories from the van, reflections about audiences, actors writers and countless talented unsung heroes behind the scenes, tune in as we explore the past 50 years of this remarkable touring theatre company and what the 50 years ahead have in store for New Perspectives.
