  • 207. Unclench: A Yoga Philosophy
    Nov 2 2026

What happens when life throws you a curveball so big that everything you thought you knew about your future goes right out the window?

For Holly, founder of Ascended Path in Utah, that moment came in high school when a snow tubing accident left her with a broken back. What followed was an unexpected journey that eventually led her to yoga, a career in fitness, and recognition among the top 10 in global fitness.

In this episode of How Yoga Changed My Life, Adrienne and Mia sit down with Holly to hear her remarkable story of recovery, resilience, and finding a new direction when life doesn’t go according to plan.

Because here’s the thing: You can show up, put in the work, do everything you’re supposed to do, and still have absolutely no control over how things turn out.

Practice makes progress. Practice builds resilience. But practice makes no promises.

Because yoga isn’t about giving up. It’s about showing up, doing the work, and learning when to loosen your grip.

  • 206. Revisiting Brandon Piazza

In Loving Memory of Brandon: The Ripples We Leave Behind

Some conversations become more meaningful than we could ever imagine. Last week, we received the heartbreaking news that Brandon, Mia’s best friend and fellow yoga teacher, had died in Thailand.

In 2025, we interviewed Brandon and he shared his incredible journey through yoga, friendship, self-discovery, and a life spent following his curiosity wherever it led him.

Brandon’s story reminds us that life rarely unfolds according to plan. But perhaps the most meaningful part of our conversation was his belief in the power of kindness, community, and the impact we have on others.

We never imagined how much those words would mean today.

We’re sharing this episode again not simply to remember Brandon, but to celebrate him. His humor, his passion, his wisdom, his adventurous spirit, and the beautiful friendship he shared with Mia.

This episode is dedicated to the memory of Brandon.

  • From Clay to Classroom to Mat: The Art of Teaching
    Oct 5 2026

What's the difference between knowing something and actually knowing how to teach it?

Cullen knows a thing or two about teaching. He's an school teacher, ceramics teacher and Yoga teacher. They chat about his path to Yoga, what years in the classroom gave him before he ever stepped in YTT, and why a Yoga teacher training should actually teach you how to teach - even if you showed up thinking you'd never lead a class.

Because sometimes Yoga changes your life by teaching you how to come back to yourself - again and again.

    Just walk.
