  • Looking for Wisdom
    May 14 2025
    Are you looking for wisdom?

We live in the age of information. Most of us have the internet right in the palm of our hands. But, the trouble is this: not all that information is true.

What we need is wisdom. You can find wisdom from God for your life by reading the book of Proverbs. My favorite! My father read it to me every day when I was growing up, and I read it to my children. And it’s benefited our lives tremendously!

Proverbs 2:6 says this: For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

I recommend that you read more from the book of Proverbs, every day, there’s one for each day- 31 of them. And even better, know God, the source of all wisdom. Pray to Him today, and ask Him to reveal Himself. Go to Him and He will show you His ways.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • Your Offenses, Swept Away
    May 13 2025
Are you weighed down by what you’ve done?

Things you’ve said, people you’ve hurt? Are these things always before you, weighing heavy on your conscience?

You can be free! Do you believe this? The God of the universe knows; He knows all that you’ve done and said. And He has not forgotten you. God is closer than the most intimate friend.

If you ask Him, He promises this to you:

    From Isaiah 44,

He will sweep away your offenses like a cloud, your sin like the morning mist. If you return to Him.

He has redeemed you. This is why Jesus went to the cross. He has not forgotten you; He loves you. You can ask Him today.

Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau.

I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free. Isaiah 44:22

  • Trust in yourself?
    May 9 2025
    Trust in yourself...

Have you ever heard someone say that to you?

There was a time in my life when I thought success and strength looked just like that- depending on no one but myself. I quickly discovered I was not perfect. There were times when I failed my friends, my family, and myself. Always, I did that.

You’re not perfect either, and you never will be!

There is One who is perfect, and you can depend on Him instead of yourself. That’s Jesus. Do you want to know Him? He is God in human form—the only person on earth who lived a perfect life. And then He died the death of a criminal to purchase forgiveness for all who would come to Him in humility; all who want to start new life and a friendship with God.

What an offer! It’s for you today. God is the one you can depend on. Put your life in His hands.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding." Proverbs 3:5

  • Do you belong with Jesus?
    May 8 2025
    Do you belong with Jesus?

Or do you feel too broken to be His child? Maybe you don’t feel good enough or holy enough. I want to remind you of what is true.

When Jesus came, He was criticized for eating with so-called ‘sinners’; the outcasts of society, people everyone looked down on.

But Jesus’ answer was so beautiful.

He said, It's not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous but the sinners.

The truth is, we are all sick. We all have a sin sick heart. All of us need Him. He died for all, and He died for you.

Don’t allow shame to keep you from Jesus. Believe what is true and come to Him today.

Always remember there is hope with God.

  • Independence
    May 7 2025
Do you ever feel like you have to do everything on your own?

Like you can't depend on anyone else? A lot of us think that being independent means being strong. But what if going alone actually means missing out on something amazing?

    Proverbs 3:5- 6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.

Imagine…God has all wisdom and knowledge. His understanding surpasses mine and yours. What if you trusted His plan for your life instead of your own?

I can tell you from experience, starting a relationship with Jesus will change your life in the most marvelous ways.

Pray. Ask God to guide you in His wisdom today. Watch, and see what He will do.

Always remember, there is hope with God. I’m Andrew Palau.

  • Repent and Believe
    May 6 2025
    Is Jesus calling you?

Do you sense it? Does He feel close?

What a beautiful place to be. When Jesus called His followers in the book of Mark, He was very clear about what He was calling them to.

He said: repent and believe the good news. Then He said: follow me.

The word repent means to think differently, to morally reconsider.

Have you repented? Do you see things differently? Do you realize who you are in light of who He is? Do you believe the good news? That the King of all kings laid down his life for you?

If this is true of you, then follow Him. Become His disciple and allow Him to be your Father.

Always remember there is hope with God. This is Wendy Palau.

  • What do you depend on?
    May 5 2025
    What do you depend on?

Is it the first cup of coffee every morning? Or your close friends? Maybe your job?

But what happens in your life when one of those things is taken away? There’s one person you can always depend on, who will always love you, no matter what. It’s God.

When you are confronted with loss... pushed into a season of change, God will not abandon you. He doesn’t promise us an easy life, but He offers us something even better: It’s Himself. He came to earth as a person—Jesus—and gave His life out of love…for me and for you.

Do you want to start a relationship with God today?

    Pray,

God, I give my life to You. Jesus, I believe in You, and I receive You now. Forgive me of my sins and help me to start this new life, depending only on You.

Always remember, there is hope with God.
