DON'T BE FOOLED! THIS IS NOT THE BOOK!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I recently found a copy of this book in a used bookstore and loved it! In the past I have never been a Dyer fan. I appreciate his teachings, but generally found them to be based on foundational truths, very simple and rather basic truths. I generally prefer something mind blowing, very deep and thought provoking, such as A Course In Miracles. But I was impressed with this particular book and it inspired and spoke to me. In fact, I found so much comfort and wisdom in it that I decided to purchase what I THOUGHT was the audiobook here on Audible, to take on a road trip and share with my daughter and sister.

Imagine my surprise to learn that this format is NOT the book at all! It is a live talk he gave prior too the release of the book. I do say that the talk is very good. But I have requested a refund for the first time in my 3 year membership because I received something quite different from what it is presented to be.

What was most disappointing about Dr. Wayne W. Dyer’s story?

It is NOT an audio book. It is a talk and not what I had thought I purchased.

It is enjoyable and worthwhile, but for me it was like getting carrot cake when I wanted angel food. It is still good, but not what the menu suggested and I had my taste buds set for something different.

I confess, I'm a little disappointed...

I thought I was buying an audio version of the book. Instead I discovered this is a series of lectures he gave after writing the book. I have no idea how much of the book is covered in his lectures, but I'm very disappointed that this wasn't explained on this page before I made the purchase. I much prefer listening to books being read to me. Every time he says "er" or "um" as he grapples with what to say next, it grates on my nerves.

I looked at the book on Amazon - even "looked inside" the print version to see what it was like. This audio version is not the same thing.

This is my first experience reading or listening to Dr. Dyer. I realize he's a very popular speaker and his stories really are great - very touching and meaningful - but now I feel like not only did I pay for this audio, if I ever really want to read the book I'll have to pay again.

One listen is not enough!

Dr. Wayne Dyer does it again. This is a must read for anyone who wants to transcend their attachment to daily life struggles. His narratives and stories provide the inspiritation needed to believe in the power of thought. It is said that, psychology works best for those who don't need it but, if you are in need and open to a change of mind this is the must listen to CD set. At the audible rate this is a true bargain!!!

Truly, there is a spiritual solution for problems

Dr. Dyer is a charming, comedic and charismatic speaker who has done his homework. He has obviously read many spiritual works and combines many of their common threads in this book to share many examples and reasons that helped me understand how there can be a solution for every problem. You have to understand that the solutions he talks about are spiritual and not so much physical, although he does share some physical actions and ideas to help you manifest your desires. Mostly, this book has helped me to relate to problems in a very different way. It has helped me change my mind about how to live a happy and contented life. Now, I listen to it at night when I can't sleep, and then I relax and can sleep. I can't tell you how many times I have listened to it. I've lost count.

I have listened to almost all of his audio sets. This one is my favorite by far. For those who want to look inside themselves.

I have this book in hard cover, ebook and now audible. This book is a masterpiece! I will read and listen to this book over and over again.

A Perfect Way to Set My Intentions for My Day

If you could sum up There is a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem in three words, what would they be?

This audio is a live lecture which allows a feeling of being a part of the group that seems thrilled to be interacting with this amazing author and spiritual leader. The demonstrations, life stories, humorous experiences gives a sense of approachability. For someone who is going through something seemingly insurrmountable or who finds people coming into their lives who are going through such situations, this audio experience is exteremely valuable. Remind yourself that the power is within, the mind is our most powerful tool in living our lives to the fullest extent possible. Health, relationships and self awareness are topics that Wayne directs self empowerment with the intention being to REMIND us of what we intuitively know. Buy it, Listen to it....remind yourself that you have the power within to do ANYTHING!

What did you like best about this story?

Wayne's personal stories that relate the topic to the personal learning experiences helping in his own spiritual growth was helpful in allowing the information to become more applicable to my reality.

I love that this author and speaker is so humbled in his work that I feel as though I could talk with him as I would a close friend. The audio collections allow for a more natural connection with Wayne. I hear the voice with the words and the vibration is deeper and effects me in a very real sense. I am grateful. ~Peace, Sandra

There's a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem

As always, Dr. Dyer is fantastic! With a large dose of humor, Dr. Dyer helps you see how, by bringing God to every part of your life, you connect with your spirit and raise your "frequency" to a higher level--the God level--at which nothing negative can survive. I encourage anyone who is struggling with fear, anger, anxiety, depression or just the basic questions of life to embark on this path with Dr. Dyer. It won't solve your problems, but it will put your feet on the right path and help you feel empowered to reconnect the pieces of your life to your soul--to God.

I wish it was the book

What did you love best about There is a Spiritual Solution to Every Problem?

Dyer has a very approachable, common man sense about him yet the topics covered are pretty deep and thought provoking

Who was your favorite character and why?

Dyer's stories of his interaction with his kids, kids are crazy insightful and without a filter they regularly cut to the chase without all the BS posturing, political correctness, etc.

What does Dr. Wayne W. Dyer bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I definately get more out of audio or video of Dyer than written book, I guess there is just more passion and understanding when you hear it from the source versus reading it.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Perspective = the ability to know and understand that you are not your feelings, in fact you the observer thereof, that knowing gives you the space to act instead of react to situations, emotions, fights, etc....

I could not find the audio version of the book, so I purchased his lecture on the book. It was good, but still not the book.

Not quite

I've listened to most of Wayne Dyer's audio books and enjoyed them. I don't know why but I didn't really connect with this one. There weren't a lot of practical examples of spiritual solutions to problems. There were some good stories. Overall its worth a listen.
