The Hero of the Book Is A Pedophile
I am writing this review for the readers who have sensibilities similar to my own.
This book starts off okay but once the protagonist meets the vampire, the book starts to turn into a straight romance novel. I am starting to get bored, however, I am only three hours into book one, and there is still time for action suspense and/or intrigue, so I am holding onto my patience to see what develops.
It all comes to an abrupt end for me when I find out in chapter nine that the vampire is 952 years old, and the heroine is 17. The vampire decided to asks her age because he realizes that she is young and innocent, and not yet a woman. However a few sentences later he is kissing her and his sexual desire for her has him fighting to stay in control, and then he mentions she is the most provocative woman he has ever known... REALLY!!! I have no respect for a 952 year old desperately falling for and lusting after a teenage girl. 952 is really old and that equals a lot of life experience. During that time he has to have known zillions of women, yet he loses his head over a 17 year old. I felt sickened and just kept thinking he is taking gross advantage of a child. Furthermore I feel the author by writing this book is condoning pedophilia. I don't see how the readers were able to continue the series after this discovery.

Almost good!
I tried, I really really tried. I love Erikca Stevens and Brenda K. Davies. I've read so many of her books, and I thought this was going to be another series I could get in to. I got through the first two books, but the 3rd finally had me throwing in the towel. It's extremely repetitive, and so many yes I will, no you won't, yes you will, no I won't conversations between Aria and Braith, I just couldn't take it any more. Also, I'm so so sick of every romance novel in the universe having the male lead be this extremely hot and handsome guy that all of the ladies in the world want. And 10 extremely beautiful women are throwing themselves at him. What about making the leading lady extremely hot and all the guys are throwing themselves at her? I mean could that happen just once ever? Mostly women reading this and we want to be the ones all the buys are fawning over. Ok I"m done, moving on.

Meh
I wanted this to be good...it had the making to be good but the main characters were so basic and boring. Their relationship was so forced. The male lead only trait was anger and attitude... Boring!!!

Great Listen
I love to find a series I can listen to durning the day. I wasn't able to stop listening to the last book!! Before I knew it I had stayed awake all night just to find out what happend. Great Story!!!

love this story
this is a true love story under the most unlikely circumstances but the author paints a very vivi picture of the relationship for the readers

narrator was average but it overall was a great audible vampire romance series. three books in one definitely credit worthy :)

Good, Nice and Then WTH??!
I first listened to the first book by itself before getting this collection. I really enjoyed it. It was imaginative and different. So I decided to go for all three books. The second book was a relief and really interesting. Then I got into the 3rd book. I started to get irritated, I promise no spoilers, because of how someone was acting about the choices they were given. I mean, it's not like that stupid plan worked before, right?
I still didn't want to give up, and I'm SO happy I didn't. I MUST listen to the next book. I'm totally hooked.
