Sorry this just drags on and on!

I tried but "Nope", I went on to book two and still NOPE! I usually believe ratings but this time "Just NO". The story just drags on and on. I really tried.

Excellent story and characters!

Author did an excellent job of creating the characters and this new world. I truly enjoyed the story. The description and details were enough to help you picture it in your mind without going too into detail. Narrator was a new one for me and she did an awesome job with having to narrate so many different voices. It does have a cliffhanger but don’t let that discourage you. It is worth a credit for sure!

Loved it 😍

The storyline was unique with fae, alphas, and beasts in winter freeze zone. I loved the heroine, Sadie. She has a cool and unique natural appearance with waist length white hair and ruby red eyes- plus she shifts into a saber tooth tiger with teeth over a foot long. In addition, the narration was superb. I am definitely going to read the next book because I can’t wait for it to come out in Audible.

Fabulous writing!

This book had me on edge & go from the very 1st chapter. MC is such a badass, she's witty & a smart ass! The suspense as to what she is was perfectly thought out & then mind blown when you realized what she was. Excellent writing style! Maeve York did an outstanding performance with the many characters. I truly can't wait for Book 2.

Great Book

From start to finish it was an amazing book to listen to. All around very good.

Love the series!

I personally enjoyed this series and the characters. I see people have disliked it but I’m ready for the next book to come out!

Read a Wattpad story instead

I don’t even know where to begin. The writing is fanfiction level, the scenarios are laughable, the romance is nonexistent, exactly what you’d expect from porn. Don’t spend money on this. All of its flaws are 100x worse when read aloud

It’s not good

The story could be interesting but it’s poorly written. Not to mention just straight misogynistic. Besides that there’s so much repetition from the MC’s POV that gets tired very fast. There are also small details that keep throwing me off (like one of the characters being about 500lbs. I get he’s super tall but still). I wanted to like it after seeing it on TikTok but I can’t.

Fun steamy characters distract from writing issues

Same words& phrases repeated CONSTANTLY. Character's sexy, loveable and deeply flawed making it worth reading.

Just bad.

The entire experience was just really bad. The plot has ZERO depth. The characters have zero depth. The author obviously has done NO studying of the dynamics of a BDSM relationship. People reading this type of literature about a BDSM relationship is EXACTLY how abusive Doms happen.
I can take a very dark with tons of triggers. I wasn't bothered by the triggers at all. But, this book shows that the author did no research into the areas they were writing about. Cobra is an abusive Dom that only cares about his own pleasures. Only 1 of the MMCs showed any sort of respect for the FMC. I don't know how this book got past Alpha readers.
