Description
Want to learn how to make people laugh out loud?
How to Make People Laugh is a book that targets regular comedians, such as you and me. It does not try to transform you into a professional comedian. Instead, it puts comedy in the spotlight of everyday life. With this book, you will learn techniques that you can easily incorporate at parties or even in regular banter with friends and colleagues.
How to Make People Laugh maintains its hold on wholesome family goodness. After all, you are trying to create not just a comedic persona, but an overall persona. You want people to see you a certain way. Are you Hilarious Harry, Dad Joke Diego, Sarcastic Sharon, or Deadpan Dan? All of those are better than Offensive Oona, Dirty Joke Dean, and Literal Lisa.
This book will show you how to have a general sense of humor - or make full use of the one that you already have. After all, not all jokes are uproariously funny. Some can make you grin. Some can make you smile. So, if you start out making people smile instead of making them laugh, you are on your way.
In How to Make People Laugh, you will discover:
- The science of charisma
- How you can develop confidence and charisma
- The role of body language in the equation
- The role of personality in the types of jokes and delivery
- Guidelines to great improv
- Examples of possible improv responses
- The value of thinking on your feet
- Learning not to take yourself seriously
- Using metaphors and definitions
- Possible joke structures that you can follow
- Examples for every joke style
- Creating comedic personas with examples
- And more!

Go to youtube
This book teaches nothing new, nothing you can´t find on a YouTube videos tutorial. I was really disappointed on it.
"Try to be funny so people like you..." Realy?... I didn't knot that when I decided to buy this book...

Really relaxing
One laugh will make it all worth it for him. So he has clearly had a lifetime of studying and analyzing humor and has defined it in a digestible way with funny examples to keep the book interesting. I actually read this book very quickly because I laughed each time sat down to read it. Thank you, I am inspired to listen your other books.

Great for Everyone!
Great book. From this book all listeners will learn something about themselves and come away from reading the book with some great ideas, I'd particularly recommend the book for high school, college, and young adults starting out in the social world or workplace, and adults of all ages who feel somewhat shy, introverted, socially anxious, or awkward.

Very very impressive!
There's so much material here that even those who think they're moderately funny can pick up the book again and again, listen a chapter or two, and go out into the world with some fresh ideas on how to inject more fun into their interactions with friends, colleagues, or strangers.

Clear and informative
The information is so overwhelming that some of you like me will have to listen this 2-3 times maybe. From past experience Its usually the case any time I listen to a book to get the whole thing grained to my head

Wonderful
I never really considered the technique of making people laugh which is why I was so intrigued by reading this book. Surprisingly, I found this book very useful not only to be more relatable to people but also for becoming a better writer because it helps you reassess the lines that you write for your characters to make them more enjoyable.

Interesting
I bought this as a gift for my nephew who's heading off to college. He knows that girls like guys who are "funny"..."witty" "self-deprecating".... I think this will give him confidence. Really helpful.

Helpful and Extremely Clear!
It’s not a book of jokes and one-liners. It’s a book that helps you learn how to build connections with people by finding everyday opportunities for casual and fun interactions. The many examples model the concepts that are presented and encourage you to relax, be yourself, experiment, and find and present your fun side.
