Warlocks of Whitehall

Humberside City, nestled in the north of Britain, is on fire, and it has taken a few weeks for anyone to really notice. The fire brigade have been doing their best, as have the other emergency services, but whoever is behind the fires has been systematically running them ragged. Whitehall is worried. Something doesn’t add up, so they’ve dispatched a warlock - a former illegal mage, pressed into service of the government to deal with matters of the arcane - to look things over.

Laying low in America, Jameson Parker is going to have to find himself a way to be useful if he wants to benefit from the protection of the paranormal power brokers on this side of the pond: bitter Machiavellian vampires. But when staying on their good side means sliding back into the darkness, is his survival really worth cutting ties with those he left behind?

Jameson Parker returns, angry and ready to lash out at the government that is selling his people to the vampires across the sea. But he has a plan to set things right: he’s going to rob The Vault, the magical leash that keeps all the warlocks in the country under the thumb of Whitehall. At least, he will if he can find the time; Death herself wants him to find her missing sister, and it's quite possible the most dangerous wizard in British history is back from the dead with schemes of his own.
