Am Anfang sehen wir, wie ein sehr erwachsen gewordener Darius einem Team des DPW, des Dezernat für prähistorische Wildtiere, in einer nicht so richtig bedrohlichen Situation hilft. Anschließend taucht, oh Wunder, ein anderer Dinosaurier auf, den Darius sofort erkennt, ihm, respektive ihr hinterherfährt, es aber nicht schafft, ihn, respektive sie zu betäuben.
