Bram Stoker ingeniously modernized gothic folklore by moving his vampire from traditional castle ruins to modern England. With Dracula, which has been interpreted and dissected by scholars for generations, Stoker changed the vampire novel forever.

Vampires have become a foremost staple of horror stories and have been represented in both print and film countless times over the decades–and their mythos has grown unchecked, evolved, and taken root in the collective consciousness of old and young, horror fans and non-horror fans alike.

I had three goals: sneak into New Orleans' most exclusive vampire club, expose its illegal blood farm, and launch myself into fame and fortune. Dracula. No, not the historical tyrant, but the actual legend. The ancient and powerful vampire whose stare could melt the panties off a nun. Oh, and he claims we're fated mates. Because, why not?
