Roos tells Craig the answer is to take shipping out of the European ETS.

  • Risk special: Ships are under attack as militants and saboteurs take aim
    Jul 11 2025

Shipping has once again found itself in the crosshairs of conflict and military action. TradeWinds reporters Eric Priante Martin and Harry Papachristou discuss the rapid escalation in Houthi violence in the Red Sea.

And Paul Peachey, TradeWinds' insurance and risk correspondent, talks to host Holly Birkett about a series of vessel attacks with possible Ukrainian backing that appear to be scare tactics, designed to deter operators from lifting cargoes in Russia.

In this 'Risk Special' edition of Wavelength, we recap and explore some of the elements threatening the security of vessels and crew right now.
