We humans are interesting primates. The act of sitting and observing one another with our eyes, our ears, our minds, appears to be a fundamental activity. One that we've been partaking in for millennia.
We observe to gain new knowledge, to have old teachings reinforced, to honor higher beings, to laugh at lesser beings, and sometimes because those beings want us to buy stuff. We do this on our own, in groups, small and large, in public squares, and in the comforts of our home.
Clever monkeys that we are, we’ve come up with innovative ways to observe each other, particularly, magic boxes of light that allow the multitudes to observe while sitting safely within their metaphorical caves.
