      What drives an artist to create something new every single day? In this special interview, composer and digital producer Peter Baumann explores the daily creative ritual of Nicholas Hooper, a Grammy-nominated and BAFTA-award-winning film composer, musician, and author best known for his music for two of the Harry Potter films.


      Since November 2022, Nick's started each day by spending 15 minutes creating new poetry or prose, and composing music to go with each work. Join us for a deep dive into his innovative process as he reflects on releasing his 100th 'Dawning'. Discover what he's learned from over a year of capturing his raw and unedited creative inspiration before doing anything else each morning, amassing a catalogue of over 6.5 hours of music that's been listened to by hundreds of thousands of people across the world. Nick shares his process of starting each day with meditation and discusses the inspiration behind the project and how it keeps his creative skills sharp. Nick also reflects on the challenges and joys of sharing his work with others and hints at possible future directions for Dawnings.
