Today, we have two guests joining us from SatelliteVu. Satellite Vu is working on the frontiers of space technology. With its game-changing high resolution mid-wave infrared camera, it is working on its mission to harness the power of satellite technology to address the world's most pressing climate challenges.

Tobias Reinicke is the co-founder and CTO of SatelliteVu. He has a background in geography and GIS. Alex Gow is the sales director of SatelliteVu, who also has a background in geology.

This episode is going to be unique in the sense that while we’re looking at space technology from an investor’s perspective, we’re going to consider two very different vantage points - first is investing directly into space technology as a VC fund and the second is a VC fund actually using space technology and its applications.

Our guest for the day is Maxim Shkvaruk, who is the Managing Director of Atlas Ventures based in Singapore. Atlas Ventures is an early-stage venture fund focusing on the Southeast Asia markets. And they currently focusing on the areas of interactive media, privacy & security, and B2B SaaS & enterprise tech.

With us is Dr. Dmitry Mikhaylov, professor at the National University of Singapore, and he is a graduate of the UK's University of Warwick and he holds a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence. He is the author of numerous patents and publications and books in multiple languages, and he has an extensive experience in applying satellite imagery.

And he also uses AI and big data concepts to engineer new products for the cybersecurity market. And given Dr. Mikhail's incredibly extensive experience around diverse topics which are so interesting for us today, let's focus on two of these topics. First one, let's dive into cybersecurity with increasing satellite connectivity.

So what cybersecurity means when there is increased satellite connectivity, how can we build more resilient satellites that are resilient to these cyber effects and now with the onset of quantum cyber attacks. So let's see how we can build more resilient systems.
