As part of his internship with us, Gabe Mealy was given a special assignment: to write and compose an original worship song. He didn’t just complete the task — he poured his heart, his prayer life, and his musical gift into it.

Yesterday, Gabe stood before our church family and shared the result: "Cut Locks" — a powerful song inspired by the story of Samson, a story of calling, compromise, grace, and redemption.

Every lyric, every note, every chord was the product of months of prayer, thought, and hard work. Gabe captured not only Samson’s journey, but the hope we all share — that even when we fall, God’s mercy meets us and His strength is made perfect in our weakness.

We are so incredibly proud of Gabe and the way he has allowed God to use him through this assignment and beyond. 🙌
