She is the author of several nonfiction series, including The Top-Secret Files of History, Twisted True Tales from Science, and Awesome Disgusting History. Her books have been awarded the SCBWI Crystal Kite Award and recognized by the National Science Teachers Association’s Notable Book List. Stephanie is a certified life and author coach and co-hosts the Way-Word Writers podcast, where she and her co-hosts provide practical advice and inspiration for writers navigating storytelling and publishing. She is a member of the Nonfiction Ninjas and the founder of NF Fest, an annual online event that educates and celebrates writers of nonfiction.
