This is an infamous story but one that remains fascinating. Cindy James called the police to her house over 100 times. She was receiving harassing phone calls and creepy letters in the mail. Her tires were slashed. Her porch light was smashed. Someone hung dead cats from her trees. Then Cindy's friend found her tied up in her own yard. The police came. The harassment continued. Cindy was found tied up again, this time in her kitchen with a knife through her hand. She took a polygraph test. Her friends moved into the house with her to keep an eye on her. Someone started the basement on fire. Cindy hired a private investigator who became convinced that Cindy was being stalked but the police were not so sure. And then, Cindy James ended up dead
