Returning from the collapsed monastery, the party is battered and weary. They retreat to their mushroom airship for a long rest, but the night brings no peace. Kil'mori is plagued by prophetic dreams of his best friend Archie, who was transformed into a raven by a curse. The dreams show Archie begging to be found, then a vision of leaping from a tower together. Tara Zellphera, meanwhile, suspects that Archie and Kil'mori's lives are mysteriously linked.
In the morning, Archie stops breathing, and Kil'mori reaches into Tara Zellphera's pocket, grabs the Soul Gem, and stabs the bird—trapping Archie's human soul inside the gem. Tara Zellphera is horrified, knowing the truth, but takes the Soul Gem back from Kil'mori and agrees to hide it and find a way to free Archie later. The mushroom crew builds a funeral pyre, and Kil'mori cremates the bird's body, burning his hand as he retrieves the skull, keeping it as a memento.
Zahara gives the party a new mission: investigate raiders near the Linkardy Desert on the mountain's far side. Olad Freeye acquires a mushroom pirate flag and an eyepatch from the tailor, giving them to Bellow, the mushroom captain, who embraces a new pirate aesthetic. As The Market Circle flies toward their destination, they spot a massive columned entrance and are suddenly attacked by a cult of W, who harpoon the ship and begin dragging them down to be sacrificed.

The party faces the aftermath of Olad Freeye handing a soul gem to the Suspended Humanoid, triggering a terrifying metamorphosis into an adult vampire goddess. A brutal battle erupts in the Monastery Ruins as the party struggles to contain the vampire and her massive automaton guardian, Daddy. The vampire's life drain deals 17 damage to Kil'mori and Olad Freeye (Tara Zellphera and Echo Wren are immune), and Daddy smashes Olad Freeye into the ground for 32 points of damage. Echo Wren is bitten for 23 damage.

Olad Freeye claims a Bastard Sword and a Curved Dagger from the vault chamber, while Tara Zellphera picks up an electrium soul-stealing whip from the vault wall and claims an Obsidian Scythe from the vault chamber, which she later attunes to, manifesting angelic wings. The party, led by Kil'mori, pushes an unnamed young lady into the vault where she slides into the frozen protector and dies. The vampire shrinks to a little girl and freezes, defeated. Tara Zellphera and Echo Wren each gain 1 stress from the traumatic events.

The party explores the hidden chambers beneath the monastery, discovering a laboratory filled with dormant avatar bodies for various gods. After accidentally killing two avatars by removing them from their tanks, they make telepathic contact with a mysterious blue-skinned entity who reveals he is from another planet and offers little hope for their world. Their exploration leads them to a demiplane prison containing Veronica, a powerful, ancient vampire child, and her guardian automaton, 'Dad.' After negotiating a tense bargain to free her, the party splits up.

Tara Zellphera and Olad Freeye find a control room. Olad Freeye touches a frigid metal door, losing the first layer of skin on his fingertips and palm, and later Kil'mori closes the same door, shattering his right boot and nearly losing a toe. They disable the wards on a massive vault, and loot it for powerful artifacts. Tara Zellphera claims a crucial purple dodecahedron lacrima crystal. Olad Freeye claims a bastard sword, a curved dagger, a massive obsidian scythe, and the soul gem. Meanwhile, Echo Wren stays behind, sewing Veronica's doll and dancing with the vampire to keep her pacified, while Archie suffers a mental break, taking significant stress. The session ends as Olad Freeye presents the soul gem to the Suspended Humanoid, triggering a terrifying transformation as the vampire absorbs its power and grows into a formidable adult form.

The party, guided by Nova, descends into the catacombs beneath the monastery ruins. After navigating dark, constructed hallways and investigating an abandoned medical bay—where Kil'mori takes a lab scoop from the cabinetry, Tara Zellphera collects a stack of alchemy and medical textbooks from a bookshelf, and Olad Freeye finds a specific herbology book about drugs from the same bookshelf—they are ambushed. Olad Freeye gives an inspiring speech, reducing the stress of Echo Wren, Kil'mori, and Tara Zellphera. Nova is petrified and shattered by a massive stone golem; Olad Freeye picks up her petrified eye. The group retreats and regroups, only to be confronted by two more golems in a large chamber containing a massive lacrima crystal and rows of mysterious tubes.
A fierce battle ensues. Echo Wren and Olad Freeye work together to dismantle the first golem's leg, causing it to shatter, revealing a blue crystal eye. Tara Zellphera retrieves a gem from its remains. The second golem targets Kil'mori with a petrifying gaze, but Echo Wren and Olad Freeye destroy its leg as well, causing it to explode in a magical barrage that hits Echo Wren, Kil'mori, and Olad Freeye with arcane missiles; Tara Zellphera dodges, taking only half damage. Tara Zellphera picks up a gem from this second shattered golem.
In the aftermath, they explore the chamber. They find the massive lacrima humming with power, its energy completely clearing Tara Zellphera's stress. They discover the tubes contain what appear to be cloned bodies—potential avatars for the gods. The session ends as Tara Zellphera, against better judgment, activates the release sequence on one of the tubes containing a Radnisphere avatar.

The party awakens Nova, the escaped prisoner from Al-Qadim's mountain prison. Before she departs, Zahara Linn'Tar gives Nova a healing potion. Tara Zellphera hands Nova the Map of Monastery Vaults, and the party convinces Nova to lead them to the vaults. After a brief interlude where Kil'mori commissions a special belt for the orbs from the enchanters—paying a down payment of four handfuls of currency and receiving a pouch of food beads for his familiar Archie—the group follows Nova's directions to the shattered ruins of the monastery.

Their search is interrupted by an ambush from strange, dragonfly-like creatures called Flicker Flies. In the frantic battle, a Flicker Fly slashes Nova with its wings, while another dive-bombs and then breathes a fog attack on Kil'mori. Tara Zellphera's attack kills one of the creatures. After the terrifying sight of a massive swarm approaching, the party escapes through a trapdoor into an underground tunnel system, narrowly avoiding being overrun.

The party's search for answers takes them through drug-induced visions and dangerous discoveries. Olad Freeye, after partaking in a powerful hallucinogen, finds himself on a cosmic plateau overlooking the shattered world, reading a tapestry that warns, 'He will destroy it all. If you cannot rebuild it first.' He sees a console with twelve lights, only one blinking—the last god. His reckless dive toward the light inflicts severe mental trauma, and he is saved only when Tara Zellphera administers a healing potion to stabilize him.
Meanwhile, Kil'mori pushes himself to exhaustion perfecting his arcane schematics, collapsing from the strain. Olad Freeye and Tara Zellphera give Kil'mori the components they obtained, and Olad takes the completed arcane formula. Later, Olad discovers a detailed map of the monastery vaults in his own pocket.
Echo Wren discovers an unconscious elf at the settlement gate and takes a note from her. Separately, after buying a box of cinnamon buns from Martha Treelon, Echo becomes sugar-fueled. Olad Freeye hands the vault map to Echo Wren, and when the party compares their documents, they realize they now have a guide to the vaults beneath the monastery. They also learn the unconscious woman might be connected to their quest. As they prepare to investigate, tensions rise between caution and urgency.

The party splits up in the refugee encampment to pursue different goals. Echo Wren visits the legendary Grimmersh, who offers cynical advice about the gods, and later acquires a box of four cinnamon rolls from Bello in exchange for a promise to pay five silver tomorrow. She gives one cinnamon roll to Kil'mori. Kil'mori, working feverishly on a device to track powerful magical artifacts, has a breakthrough while eating the comfort food. Olad Freeye and Tara Zellphera Zellphera visit an enchanter's tent, where Tara Zellphera purchases a secret map to the Monastery's lost vaults, which Olad receives, and Olad also receives a metal object from the enchanter, D. The party receives a quest from D to retrieve her brother's sentimental necklace from the vaults in exchange for a custom item. They also learn of two possible locations for the dodecahedron they seek: the Linkardi Desert and the monastery vaults.

Tara Zellphera Zellphera purchases a blue lacrima. Their search leads them to the mysterious Athena. Olad Freeye and Tara Zellphera Zellphera each make a donation to Athena—Olad places two gold coins, and Tara Zellphera adds an extra gold coin. Their donations trigger separate, profound visions: Olad to an astral plane with an altar for the elemental orbs, and Tara Zellphera Zellphera to a peaceful meadow from her childhood. Later, Olad discovers a small bag of tiny blue pills in his own pouch.

The party departs the volcanic island aboard their airship, heading toward Nerius Prime. During the journey, they study the Updated World Map given to them by Echo, while Olad Freeye bonds with his direwolf pup, Aurora. Kil'mori remains below deck, obsessively tinkering with a mysterious invention. As they fly past the ruins of the Monastery, they spot a massive refugee camp and decide to land to gather supplies.
At the camp, they meet the stern leader Zahara Linn Tar and secure permission to trade. Olad bargains for lumber and puppy supplies, Echo negotiates for wood with a lavish meal, and Tara takes Kil'Mori's component shopping list. The party splits to explore the bustling market, encountering friendly locals and beginning to gather the resources they need for their ongoing journey into the broken world.
