  • The Power of Yin & Yang Yoga | Workplace Wellness
    Oct 12 2026

What happens when you give a busy team permission to slow down?

As part of a corporate wellness event, I led employees through a unique Yin-Yang yoga session designed to bring both movement and stillness into the workplace.

We began with the energy of Yang - flowing sequences, strength, balance, movement and breath before transitioning into Yin, where we slowed down, held poses for longer, and created space to simply be.

    During the session, we explored:

✅ Mindful, diaphragmatic breathing to build focus and presence

✅ Strength, balance and flexibility through Yang yoga

✅ Grounding and body awareness through standing and balancing poses

✅ Slower Yin practices to encourage stillness and relaxation

✅ Creating space to rest and support the body's natural relaxation response

✅ The practice of letting go: physically, mentally and emotionally

✅ Gratitude, self-appreciation and reconnecting with the body

Workplace wellbeing isn't always about doing more. Sometimes, it’s about learning when to pause.

🙌🏽 Wellbeing can start with creating an engaging, meaningful and practical wellness experience for your company or team. I’d love to explore what could work for you.
