    • S5 - Ep 18 - Shuffle First, 2024 Deep Cuts Later — And a Few Album Cover Face-Offs for Dessert
      Aug 29 2025

This week, Craig and Kevin start things off with the Schizophrenic Shuffle — their ongoing audio roulette where five randomly shuffled tracks are shared, digested, and categorized into three distinctive reactions:

🎧 Highlight – The song that stood tall
🪞 Reminder – A blast from the past
🚪 New Introduction – A welcome musical stranger

Then it’s time to zoom in on 2024, the most recent year they’ve tackled to date. Each host brings a still-under-the-radar album from the past year that’s worth revisiting (or discovering for the first time). With so much music released weekly, these selections aim to cut through the noise and spotlight what might’ve been missed.

Finally, they close things out with a round of Either/Or — ten head-to-head musical face-offs where Craig and Kevin make impossible choices with no room for hedging — and then…

🎨 Album Cover Challenge: Craig throws Kevin a visual curveball, asking him to pick between a series of iconic (or delightfully obscure) album covers, purely based on art and instinct.

    • S5 - Ep 17 - Y2K & Deep Cuts: 2000 Albums, Shuffle Gems & Rating Battles
      Aug 15 2025

Craig and Kevin kick things off with their Schizophrenic Shuffle, where both hosts shuffle their personal libraries, trade five tracks, and return with one song in each of these categories:

🎧 Highlight – The standout track of the week
      🪞 Reminder – A nostalgic return
🚪 New Introduction – A track they hadn’t really explored before

Then it’s time to lock in some snap judgments with Rate This, the game where Kevin and Craig rate albums, artists, or topics on a 1–10 scale — no warmups, no explanations (at least not right away).

And of course, it wouldn’t be a Schizo episode without Either/Or — ten rounds of musical face-offs where only one pick survives. May the best record win.

They cap things off by diving into the new millennium in style with the year 2000, unearthing underrated or overlooked albums from a year loaded with alt-rock holdovers, rap-rock chaos, and indie breakthroughs. Each host brings a pick that deserves another listen — no Limp Bizkit in sight (we hope).

From Y2K nostalgia to modern-day music hot takes, it’s another unpredictable ride with the Schizo boys.

    • S5 - Ep 16 - 1992 Album Gems + Shuffle, Ratings & Either/Or Throwdowns
      Aug 8 2025

Craig and Kevin rewind to 1992, a year where grunge officially cracked the mainstream, hip-hop kept evolving, and alternative rock started to take over the airwaves. True to form, they each bring one overlooked or underrated album to the table — records that might’ve been drowned out by the buzz of the big hitters, but still pack a serious punch.

Then it’s time for another round of the Schizophrenic Shuffle, where Craig and Kevin trade five randomly shuffled tracks from their personal libraries, listen during the week, and return to slot them into three categories:

🎧 Highlight – The undeniable banger
🪞 Reminder – A song that sparked memory
🚪 New Introduction – A track they hadn’t spent time with… until now

Next, they heat things up with Rate This, where one host throws a band, album, or concept at the other and demands a quick-fire 1–10 rating — no explanations required (until the shouting starts).

They follow that up with the classic head-to-head game: Either/Or, album edition. Ten rounds. Two choices. One survivor. And zero fence-sitting.

Then, Craig caps off the episode with the album cover challenge, but this time all coming from albums released in 1992. Kevin chooses not the best, but the worst!

It’s 1992 through the Schizo lens — unpredictable, opinionated, and full of deep listening energy.
