Before time began, before the foundations of the world were laid, there was rebellion in heaven. The mighty cherub Lucifer, the most radiant of all the angels, allowed pride to corrupt his heart. The deceiver who had led the rebellion in heaven now sought to lead a rebellion on earth. "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." - John 1:17 KJV

The actions of God giving the Law of commandments to Moses was recorded in detail in the book of Exodus.

"And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them." - Exodus 24:12 KJV

Moses received the law and commandments from God on Mt. Sinai after The Exodus from Egypt.

But precisely when did grace and truth come by Jesus Christ? At His birth in Bethlehem? Sometime during Jesus’ 3 year ministry? At His death on the cross? Perhaps at His resurrection from the dead?
