Poppcast #2: I am lucky to interview Thommy Berlin of Stevie Stiletto and the Switchblades, Velvet Elvis, Evil Maracas, Thommy Berlin and his Big Head, Radio Berlin, Powerball, and currently of Radio Poets.
We discuss where he grew up, his earliest influences, the many bands he performed with, the comings and goings of bandmates, battles with substance abuse, his orphan guitar collection, and recent activities in live music.
Poppcast is the official podcast of Popp Rock Shop, a company that specializes in custom audio cables, guitar effects and amplifiers, audio consulting, and the creation of educational content. Owner Joe Popp retired as the Technical Director of The Sonic Arts Center at CCNY in October of 2024.
