  • Everywhere You Go, There You Are (literally)
    Aug 29 2025

Lauren Sawyer is a community builder and marketing pro who values authenticity above all. She shares her incredible journey from adoption, how losing her brother deepened her faith rather than destroyed it, and how she found her tribe after years of fruitless friendships. Lauren and I have known each other for 10 years, and throughout that time she has never compromised her values - especially after breaking free from her people-pleasing days ahem like calling out a CEO during a job interview.. This is a raw and honest conversation about faith, family, loss, knowing your worth and finding your people in the chaos of life.

  • Lessons From Gen Z (aesthetically and with boundaries)
    Mar 13 2025

I sat down with some Gen Z experts—my younger siblings! I had to know: what are Gen Z youngins really going through? What do older generations just not get about them? What do they have harder than other generations? Do they feel ready for a rapidly changing world? We also dove into the all-important quest for aesthetic perfection and, of course, how to properly use their lingo—purr.

It’s a fun, insightful convo about the generational gaps we all face and how we can bridge them by listening and learning.

  • It's Never Too Late to Reinvent Yourself (one step at a time)
    Nov 21 2024

This episode is all about reinvention! I’m joined by Shari Leid—a reinvention coach, author, podcast host, and friendship expert—who truly embodies the art of starting over. Her latest transformation began with an inspiring journey to all 50 states, where she connected with one woman in each state to learn and grow through their stories. That experience not only boosted her confidence but also gave her the clarity to make bold changes in her own life.

Shari reflects on her quest for belonging, the lessons she’s learned from her incredible conversations, and how those moments of connection sparked a profound shift. Now, she’s filed for divorce, met an amazing new partner, and is gearing up to launch a book based on her journey—all while embracing the endless possibilities ahead. She’s living proof that when one door closes, countless others open. Just trust the process.

  • How Tara Dower Tackled Imposter Syndrome to Set the Fastest Known Time on the Appalachian Trail (in 40 days)
    Oct 24 2024

Grab your hiking boots and trail candy! I sat down with ultra runner and certified trail-blazer Tara Dower, who absolutely SHATTERED the fastest known time on the Appalachian Trail. What takes most people 5 to 6 months, Tara crushed in just 40 days, 18 hours, and 5 minutes – yep, from Maine to Georgia, 2,197 miles later. No biggie.

In this episode, we dive into how she pulled off such a mind-blowing feat, from navigating mental battles (even record-breakers have imposter syndrome, y’all!) to dodging wildlife and dirt-napping along the way. Plus, the epic planning and teamwork it took to keep her moving forward.

We also get into some bigger conversations about learning from failure, the need for more representation of women in athletics, what she wants her legacy to be and… wait for it… did she really encounter a Skinwalker in the woods?!
