  • Job 6-9 Read Aloud
    Jul 11 2025

Thank you for joining me today as we read through Job chapters 6 - 9. In these verses, we heard Job’s heartfelt reply to his friends, especially to Eliphaz, and then the first exchange between Job and Bildad. Job continues to wrestle with God's justice and his own deep grief, asking the kinds of questions many of us have dared to ask in our darkest hours.

These scriptures remind us that God is not afraid of our honesty. He meets us in the middle of our mess, even when answers don’t come quickly or clearly.

If today’s reading stirred anything in your spirit, take time to sit with it. Pray. Journal. Talk to God about what you’re feeling—just like Job did.

Tomorrow, we’ll continue with Job chapters 10 - 13, so be sure to subscribe or follow to stay on track with the journey. Thank you again for your grace, especially when I stumble over those ancient names. I’m so grateful we’re walking this path together.

Until next time, may the Lord bless you and keep you.

  • Genesis 8-11 KJV Reading
    Jul 9 2025

Ending the book of Genesis, we reflect on the powerful foundation laid in Genesis chapters 1 through 11. From the breathtaking creation of the heavens and the earth to the forming of man and woman in God's image, we witness both divine beauty and heartbreaking rebellion. These early chapters walk us through the fall in the Garden of Eden, the first murder, the spread of sin, the great flood, and the covenant God made with Noah. We also see humanity’s pride rise again in the Tower of Babel, only to be humbled and scattered by God. These scriptures reveal the holiness, mercy, and sovereignty of God as the story of humanity begins to unfold.

Next, we’ll continue our journey into the book of Job, following the chronological order of our reading plan.

Today’s reading is Genesis chapters 1-3, read from the King James Version by CeeCee Hall. Each day, we’re walking through God’s Word in the order it unfolded, from the very beginning. I pray these scriptures speak to your heart as they’ve spoken to mine.

Tomorrow, we’ll continue with Genesis chapters 4-7.

I’d love for you to subscribe and join me daily—whether you’re reading along, or simply listening while tending to your day. May His Word find you right where you are.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word, alive, holy, and true. Let it take root in our hearts and guide our steps today. Give us ears to hear, eyes to see, and a spirit that longs for You. As we carry this truth into our day, may we walk in grace and be reminded that You are near. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Journal through Scripture Trailer
    Jul 4 2025

Welcome to Journal through Scripture, a daily podcast where I'll be reading through the entire KJV Bible in a year, in the order the stories unfolded, chronologically. I'm not a preacher, teacher, or a scholar, just a woman longing for the love of God and looking to find Him one chapter, one verse at a time.

If you've ever felt too far gone, too messy, or too unsure to open your Bible, pull up a seat beside me. There's room at this table, and no fancy words required.

Let's seek Him together, day by day, chapter by chapter.
