  • The People You Choose.
    Nov 5 2026

Straight to the trash. That's what we are doing with energy that doesn't feel good.

Welcome to I'm Your Mother Now Podcast. A place where the girls talk about their feelings. This week we talk about OG relationships and how to know it's time to stop tolerating dysfunction (just because it's familiar). Also, devastating news, but if you want to build your own community you have to leave the house. But where DO you find friends as an adult?

Anyway, special treat on this week's episode as Amanda makes a profound point and Sarah disagrees then repeats it back in her own words. LYLAS.

✨ If you're an elder millennial reconsidering the relationships you inherited, follow us @iymn_podcast. We're finding our people, too.

  • Chop wood, carry water
    Oct 19 2026

Before enlightenment, chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment? Well, the dishes still need doing.

This week, we're talking about the exhausting business of being human: motherhood, mental load, burnout, and the never-ending responsibility of keeping everyone and everything together. We unpack how childhood trauma can turn us into chronic caretakers, why fixing everyone else's problems isn't the superpower we thought it was, and what happens when we finally let people experience their own consequences.

Plus, the chaos of raising small children, the questionable advice to “enjoy every minute,” emotional breakdowns, and the fine line between offering support and offering unsolicited solutions.

Sometimes healing isn't a grand revelation. Sometimes it's just chopping the wood, carrying the water, and remembering to take care of yourself, too.

  • #notallmen
    Oct 3 2026

Apparently, the theme this fall is the fall of civilization. So naturally, we’re talking about men.

This week, we’re officially retiring “not all men” and asking a much more important question: what are the good men actually doing about the bad ones?

We get into the culture that teaches women to protect themselves instead of teaching men not to harm them, what it means to raise boys who understand consent and emotional responsibility, the way men and women are socialized completely differently—and why we’re done rationalizing, explaining away, or making excuses for harmful behavior.

Plus: female intuition, dysfunctional relationship playbooks, throwing emotional spaghetti at your friends, and why sometimes being a good man means being willing to make other men uncomfortable.

Season 3 said the gloves were coming off. We meant it.

  • Gloves Off
    Sep 25 2026

Season 3 is here—and the gloves are officially off.

After two seasons of processing our family dynamics in real time, we get honest about accountability, intent vs. impact, the mythology of “family will always be there,” and what happens when you finally stop doing the emotional labor required to keep dysfunctional relationships alive.

If you’re new here, you can start here. In a lot of ways, we are too.

If you enjoy our vibe, we invite you to follow us on YouTube and Instagram -- @iymn_podcast

We are live Fridays at 8:30am EST with new episodes!

She's Sarah, and she's Amanda, and this is their talk show.

Amanda took two weeks off work and learned something about herself -- she's never doing that again. After cosplaying a SAHM for the first week of school, she needed a fresh set of milky white nails and a PSL to complete the factory reset.

Sarah remains fed up with men, and to further our research into these analog beings, we are going to do next week's podcast as men. No, we aren't sure what that looks like yet but we have a week so give us a break.

Speaking of, and this one is women only (lol), have you ever considered what your name would be if you were a man? Sarah, who has loved naming things since the dawn of time has somehow NOT thought about this and neither has Amanda. We're going to sit with it. Anyway, we'll catch ya next week!

  • We don't ask for much.
    Aug 28 2026

We don't ask for much. And maybe that isn't the flex we thought it was.

What if the problem isn’t that nobody appreciates everything we do — but that we've gotten so good at anticipating everyone’s needs that nobody even has the opportunity to ask?

Then Sarah takes us one layer deeper: we spend a LOT of time trying to understand why people hurt us. Their childhood. Their trauma. Their attachment style. Their mother. But at some point, the better question might be why we’re still standing there trying to understand someone who keeps treating us like shit.

✨ If you’re an elder millennial unpacking why being “low maintenance” somehow turned into doing everything yourself, follow us @iymn_podcast.

In this episode, the sisters reflect on August, the month that changed everything. From shower thoughts about how our children will be able to get glimpses into exactly who we were by listening to the podcast, to grappling with the unexpected reality of going no-contact with a parent, the sisters take a trip through generational trauma, motherhood, healing, and the courage – and fear! – it takes to choose a different path.

We hope you enjoy this episode, and would be honored if you shared it with your friends!

  • It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.
    Aug 7 2026

One year ago, we hit chaotically went live the first episode of I'm Your Mother Now. And boy, has it been a year.

This episode is about everything that happened after we decided to stop pretending everything was "fine".

We reflect on this past year and what we have gained and lost. A stronger relationship as sisters, a community we never expected to build, and the courage to stop accepting relationships that required us to abandon ourselves.

We also talk about what happens when breaking generational cycles comes with real consequences. Sometimes the people you hoped would grow alongside you choose distance instead. That grief is real.

✨ Thank you for spending this first year with us. We can't wait to see where the next year takes us.
