The Phil Harris Alice Faye Show was a comedy variety show. It debuted on NBC in 1948, and ran until 1954, and featured real-life husband and wife, Phil Harris a singer songwriter, and Alice Faye a singer actress.

The show was initially set in Chicago, but was later changed to Harlem.

Early episodes were broadcast from the El Mirador Hotel in Palm Springs California.

In this episode, When George's friend sees Liz knitting baby booties, a rumor starts that she and George are expecting.

This radio plot sounds similar to a plot was used in the I Love Lucy episode "Drafted."

I've left in the original episode commercials from 1948 to preserve the authenticity of this radio show.

This was a popular comedy radio series in the 40's that your parents and grand parents probably listened to, and really enjoyed, especially with Lucille Ball entertaining before her wildly popular I Love Lucy series.
