Anna Jinja is a passionate advocate and storyteller who believes in the transformative power of sharing personal journeys. Adopted from Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Iowa by Norwegian parents, she has dedicated her life to creating spaces where people can feel seen, heard, and valued.
As the host of The Anna Jinja Show, Anna explores the rich, layered experiences surrounding adoption and belonging, inviting guests to open up about their stories and pairing these conversations with meaningful literary or musical pieces. Her show reflects her mission to affirm the worthiness of every individual and to foster a sense of home within the world.
Anna’s commitment to community and service runs deep, with a career spanning various nonprofit organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and Able Up Iowa, where she served as executive director. Now living in Athens, Ohio, Anna continues to inspire and uplift others, sharing life’s adventures alongside her husband, Pete, and their dog, Floyd.
