John Christensen assumed leadership of ChartHouse Learning in 1998, continuing the legacy started by his father, Ray. Driven by a fascination with people who genuinely love their work, John experienced a defining moment during a visit to Seattle’s Pike Place Fish Market. Captivated by the energy, enthusiasm, and wholehearted engagement of the fishmongers, he was inspired to help others find the same sense of purpose and joy in their work.

That moment led John to create the film FISH!, which quickly became a global phenomenon. Under his leadership, ChartHouse Learning has become the official home of the FISH! Philosophy—offering a suite of learning tools and experiences designed to help people build more effective, energized, and purpose- driven teams and organizations.
