À propos de cette écoute
It's our first episode! Somewhere on the Screen is the latest podcast by friends and performing art people Joseph Reese, Nick Westemeyer, and Chris Moss where they'll take a deep dive into upcoming new releases in film and television with a two-month cycle examining the context of film's arrival. Every two-month cycle they'll take a deep dive into various works they think will be vital to understanding how the new film will be understood by the audience. For our first cycle we'll be looking at James Gunn's upcoming Superman film as he prepares to launch the new DC Cinematic Universe.
This week we're diving into Chris's pick for this cycle as we examine The Mummy (2017). Chris claims this is somehow the most important text for us to consider as we prepare so we'll let him take the reins as we examine this...are we calling it a film? Everyone has thoughts.
