The former boxer, turned actor enjoyed an impressive amateur boxing career before being hand picked to spar and live with a 17 year old boxing prospect by the name of Mike Tyson.
Having never been knocked off his feet, Tyson labelled Joe 'The toughest white man on the planet!'
Unfortunately Joe's incredible journey is not without it's dark days. From traumatic family problems and mental health issues, to a 4 year spell in prison, 'Big' Joe has now come full circle and enjoys a successful career in the movie business.
