À propos de cette écoute

If you are a faithful listener to this podcast, you are well aware of the topics we attempt to cover, WITH a keen Biblical Perspective in mind to helps us navigate WAYS FORWARD that might make our world a little better place.

We cover current events, politics, game changing news stories (like the Hama’s attack against Israel, Trumps courageous and bold American Air Power assistance to Israel against Iran’s nuclear weapon campaign), exposing government corruption, and Trumps accomplishments over the past 6 months.

We also talk about the strengths and dangers of Artificial Intelligence, cultural upheaval, riots and stupidity from our high institutions of learning, AND we also dive deep into Bible scriptures that we hope will help listeners that are struggling with lose, depression, anxiety, fear, lack of joy…vision or purpose.

In our early days during Biden’s term, Mark and I were driven by the call in Ezekiel to be Watchmen on the Wall…to call out things that were simply jacked up and extremely dangerous if left unaddressed. Topics like Trans-gender ideology, Drag Queen story hours in our schools, Media derangement syndrome, the corination of Kamala once it became clear that Joe was fading faster that the ice cream in his cone.

Along the way, we have asked our listeners for feedback, counter viewpoints, and new show ideas…SO THAT…we could bring TOPICS MOST DESIRED BY YOU OUR LISTENERS to the fore.

We are asking you for feedback. Seriously. What do you like best about our show? What do you like least? Are the Bible studies on a topic of value…too long…too short? What other topics would you like us to cover?

You can also send us an email if you have more to say that the SEND A TEXT feature offers. Our email is odc22@proton.me.

And as long as I’m on the topic of house-keeping…I have an announcement to make. As you know, we have been posting two shows every week, dropping new episodes every Monday and Friday. Mark liked the thought of “book-ending” your week. But this summer, Marks business has taken off like an Elon Rocket and he has been too busy to contribute much to the show ideas, prep, recording and the like…leaving me to carry on.

Which is why I’m reaching out for feedback and interests. Preparing two new shows every week requires a massive amount of think time, research time, recording and finally editing time for each show. That said, and after running it by Mark, we have decided to cut our weekly output in half…and plan to release one episode a week, probably on hump day, Wednesday. This allows us to catch news at the front or back of any given week, keeping our content fresh at the time it is played.

So…if you haven’t already set up your podcast player (either Apple or Spotify or wherever you get your podcast,) with NOTIFICATION, you might want to do this. By setting that up, you’ll never miss being advised that we dropped a new show.

It is NOT our intent to phase this show out…BUT to STRENGTHEN it. Not to boost, but rather to simply keep you in the loop, One Day Closer has nearly doubled our global countries list from 29 to 51 countries just in the last 6 months! And we doubled the number of cities listening from 256 in January to 512 cities! So we are growing, thanks to you our listeners and Gods favor…as all our growth is organic.

We do have both an Instagram and X account but simply don’t have the time or insight as to how to post our shows there…so if you are so inclined, feel free to share our shows to your or to our feeds. Maybe together we can reach those in need of a lift, a different perspective or some good old fashion Bible teaching to help them through them week.
