This was a really fun episode! I invited writer, Armaan Babu to discuss the similarities and differences between the White Lotus compared to Madame Butterfly! Full transparency: I have not seen season 2 of The White Lotus, and he had not seen the opera, Madame Butterly. So I thought it would be fun to merge notes!
Armaan Babu is a freelance writer and nerdy pop culture critic, who writes about video games, comics, movies, and television shows. He also has a background in theater, having worked for nine years as a production manager for Quiver Productions.
