First, they were traumatized alongside Charles Melton’s character by Netflix’s and Todd Haynes’ campy drama “May December” (15:00). Next, they partially opened their arms for David Fincher and his return to the director’s chair and Netflix with “The Killer” (28:16). Lastly, after Evan touched on a slew of films to include the bathwater-indulging “Saltburn,” the shortcomings of Ridley’s Scott’s “Napoleon,” the delightful otherworldliness that was Nicholas Cage’s “Dream Scenario,” and the most woefully mis-titled movie of the year in “Best.
