    loved his approach!

    I'm a CBT-based sleep coach and I read pretty much any sleep books that comes my way, and this is my new favorite!! Dr. Winter in funny and engaging, and a great narrator. Additionally, I really appreciated his approach, which emphasizes a take-the-pressure-off style, and even offers some ideas I hadn't heard before. I think this book offers advice and options that can help even the most well-read poor sleepers out there.

    Informative and funny! A must read even if you don’t have a sleep problem!

    This book is informative, helpful and most of all funny. It’s about time someone wrote a book about sleep that doesn’t put you to sleep. This book goes into detail of the different sleep issues and ways to treat them in a way that anyone can understand. Great job!

    Cured!

    After reading a few months ago, I was back to normal within days. I have occasional lack of sleep now, but I just don’t sweat it. I attribute my better sleep to Dr. Winter’s suggestions.

    Fantastic!

    Made me rethink all I know about my insomnia for the better. I'm already sleeping better and without chemicals.

    I didn't enjoy it

    I got about halfway through and stopped. I didn't enjoy the way he talked about his patients, and the wording he used throughout the book felt like it was more likely to reinforce the reader's negative beliefs about sleep than to help.

    Best Narration on Audible so Far

    This audiobook cleared up some misconceptions that I had about sleep. However, the humor and wit of the narrator alone made this book worth it!

    Helpful and Entertaining

    Dr. Winter is not only an expert in his field, he's also a great storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor. The Sleep Solution had me laughing out loud more frequently than most stand-up specials. This lighthearted approach made the medicine go down easy. And I found that I retained that vital information at a far higher proportion than usual. If you're someone like me who needs a solution for their sleep -- and wants to have a good time getting it -- this is the book for you.

    smart, witty & full of info

    This book was very enjoyable to listen to and I learned some new things about sleep, which were my intentions when purchasing this product. If you'd like to learn more about why sleep is important and some of the reasons why you may be experiencing insomnia or having a hard time falling asleep then this is the book for you!

    exactly what i was looking for

    The book goes on building a knowledge framework about sleep, its intrincacies and how to better diagnose and minimize them. It develops in a very casual way, addressing you and your fears in a soothing manner, many times pointing out ways to know more. Very worthy read. Well narrated audiobook.

    Very helpful

    While I can’t use everything from this book, I can use a good portion of it. For that reason, I think it’s a great tool if one is having trouble sleeping. I’ve been working on my sleep for a couple of years now, and this put the nail in my coffin so to speak. I sleep a lot better having read this book.
