Lost Credibility in the Introduction

I would give the book 4 stars for the tips. Most were generally good and a few are true gems. But the author lost my respect when she used the Intro (and almost every section) to recommend that readers should tweet/share these tips with their friends. This wasn't a casual suggestion, but an indication that being more "connected" on social media would somehow lower my stress. Really??? Most people I know are overstressed BECAUSE they are too connected. Ultimately it seemed more like a blatant attempt by the author to get some free advertising and sell more books.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Possibly more story along with the 108 points

What was most disappointing about Gabrielle Bernstein’s story?

For me personally it I thought it more an effort at income than good subject matter.

Good beginning point for ACIM & Kundalini

The tools are good for a beginners journey to spirituality & A Course In Miracles. It would work better as a physical book for easy reference & being able to go back and find specific exercises after you finish the book, no way to do that with the audiobook, I got this bundled with the Kindle edition but I find myself wishing I had just got the paper edition.

Miracles Now Eye Opening

Where does Miracles Now rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I enjoyed listening to this book. I was glad it was read by the author because I love her personality. I've followed her for a while on social media and was eager to read this book. As, I'm ready for some changes in my life. This was one of the better audiobooks I've listened to.

What did you like best about this story?

I love how Gabrielle is so down to earth in her concepts. She doesn't make things sound complicated. All of these things are simple to do. You don't need to spend an hour doing yoga and meditation.

What does Gabrielle Bernstein bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love listening to books when I'm doing other things. I also loved hearing her voice. It was very soothing. The only thing is that you don't get to see some of the exercises. So, I'll be buying the kindle addition as well. I did some of the exercises that she explained but I'll have to get the book to look at the other exercises.

What did you learn from Miracles Now that you would use in your daily life?

I have been a practitioner of kundalini yoga and meditation. I've also read some of Marianne Williamson's books so I am not a stranger to The Course in Miracles. But, I really liked how she puts the two together. Most of the stuff she talked about regarding the course and the yoga I already knew. But, she has a lot of other good advice and points that are not apart of the course and yoga as well. Some insights really made me think about my own life and how I can use these practices in my daily life. I also want to learn more about tapping. I knew a little and this enlightened me some more but it doesn't go in depth into it.

Any additional comments?

This book is worth listening to. but, I would also buy the kindle or hard copy edition to follow along on the exercises. Overall, I loved listening to Gabby's voice and am so glad she read it herself. If you practice yoga and meditation or have studied the course this is a good refresher. If you never have studied yoga or the course this is a great introduction book.

kind of boring

Pretty uninteresting and full of research. the narrator's voice was very monatone and made it hard to finish.

Love will guide you to who you are meant to be.

Gabby is my favorite author.
She constantly stays true to her purpose of learning to teach the most helpful advice

Should probably get a physical copy as well

this was inspiring but I think owning a physical copy would help a lot. I kept getting lost while listening

Didn't Find Any New Ideas

Has Miracles Now turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not this genre, but maybe this author.

I didn't finish listening because I was finding myself losing interest. I didn't really hear any new ideas, nothing grabbed me. Maybe this wasn't the best book of hers to start with? Maybe it's because I have done a lot of reading in this genre? I keep hearing how awesome Gabby is and I wanted to get in on it!

Life changing for the better !

If you are looking to find your purpose this is a must read. I could not stop listening to the truth she speaks .
