After first sharing King Josiah with my friends as a manuscript, they were at the same time impressed and amazed, as several asked me how I was able to write such an intriguing and brilliant novel. The truth is that aside from my knowledge of Josiah as a historical figure, and my willingness to write, I can take very little credit for the story itself as it was not so much a work of my imagination but flowed out from a much deeper place within. In this sense, I can say that I was merely “the pen in the hand of the writer”, as I literally watched the storyline unfold over time, and from beginning to end, was only given more of it as I was faithful to set the portions I could see to print…
What came forth was a fascinating back story concerning the lives of 3 historic Judaen Kings, along with their contemporaries, bringing them to life in every vivid detail as real people. In short, King Josiah is a story of true heroism brought to life. It is also a story of tremendous personal hope, revealing that no matter how far you or any other individual may have moved in the wrong direction in life, your story is not over yet. King Josiah will take you on an amazing journey back in time, culminating with a genuine look into the future!
