In a study testing pain levels in women, thresholds were significantly altered by vagina self-stimulation. Okay, says Susie. Next, Susie reads from a New Inquiry magazine article: "Anti Porn Land" by Rachel Hill. Hill researched activists involved in stopping the culture of pornography. What bothers Susie about these organizations is their use of "anti" and "pro" to muddle the debate. If you're "pro porn", you must be a sicko. And if you're "anti porn", then you're righteous. Give us a break!
Finally, from her "Try This at Home" mailbag, Susie has a letter from a listener who is moving to the boondocks. "Life will be so simple except…. I still need my Hitachi Magic Wand! Is there another vibrator that I can use off the grid?"
