A great story but sound quality is an issue.

This is the second in the series and I hope I can find the next very quickly. A great story that pulls you in.
Chapters 33-37, and 39 are bad as far as sound quality, you’ll have to speed it up to 3.5 for it to sound remotely normal, also I believe it’s missing a lot as sentences are unfinished and the story doesn’t flow or make sense.

Bad mixing for chapters 33-37

Book itself was great. The audio was good for most of the book but BAD mixing for several chapters. The sound is stuttered and at like .02 speed and I had to speed it up to 3.5 to get it to sound NORMAL. that needs to be fixed because it seemed like some of the chapters got cut off too because they ended abruptly

Angsty, crazy, Rollercoaster that is Kova and Ria

5/25/2023 - Increased my rating to 4.5 Stars.

Rereading by listening to the audiobook for Off Balance Audio Tour. Thank you to Forever and Always PR for providing the audiobooks.

This time around, I was more enjoyable since I fell in love with Kova in the last few books. I was super frustrated with Kova and Ria the first time I read this book. Now I'm all in on them, even though Ria can make me so mad with her decision-making.

I was so excited to listen to the audiobook s for this series. However, I was very bummed that there was not a male narrator because i was dying to hear a sexy Kova accent. I get why they had a female narrator since this book is all from Ria's POV. I really enjoyed the narration, and I think the narrator did a decent job doing Kova's Russian accent.

I love how supportive Kova is with her gymnastics and how deeply he believes in Ria. I love Kova even though this book ends with Kova screwing up. I believe in his devotion after previously reading the series. I could enjoy it more this time since I understand Kova's decisions.

Finally, I'm reading this for the Off Balance read along. This book was an insane roller coaster. I have so many moments that made me rage in this book. Putting together a vlog as I read this story, so you will be able to see all the rants once this read along is over.

Kova pissed me off for most of this book, but so did Ria.

My biggest pet peeve is that they keep having unprotected sex. It drives me insane!!!! They are so stupid, either wrap it up or get on birth control.

I love all the gymnastics and the meets. I actually started to appreciate Kova with how supportive and gentle he was with Ria at these competitions.

So many secrets and bombs dropped at the end of this book. Especially with the cliffhanger.

Completely consuming my life

I am deep in the off balance universe right now and I never want to leave! Hearing Ria advance in her gymnastics career and continuing to dive down the health rabbit hole, the aftermath of last books bombshell! Lucia is a genius I’m loving this series so much

Sarah Puckett delivers an immaculate narration!

This series is one my absolute favorite and getting the chance to rereading this through audio ARC provided by Forever and Always PR (thank you again!!) was an opportunity I wasn’t gonna turn down! Sarah Puckett does a splendid work with delivering the emotions the characters feel and it’s incredible. You get so immersed into the audiobook and it becomes nearly addicting thanks to Sarah Puckett. I couldn’t stop listening to it. I can’t wait to continue one my reread!

Execution

Absolutely spectacular story. Kova is the MMC you just love to hate and hate to love. Even though this is my third time reading this series, it’s my first time listening! Each time I’ve been left in tears and feeling every emotion our lovely Ria does. I love Lucia’s writing and it’s been amazing being able to hear this story come to life and hear Kova’s russian accent told through extremely talented narration. Excited to continue listening to the rest of this series!

Wow my heart is broken

I loved this book much more than the first one and can not wait to listen to the next one although my heart broke at the end 🥺

Completely addicted to this story and audio!!!

This book!!!! This series just gets better and better!! The writing is just so captivating and takes you on a wild journey! I fell deeper in love with Kova and Adrianna in this book but it also gave me whiplash as well. That is the best way I can describe it!! It’s quite a ride!!! You are going to want to immediately jump to book 3, Release, after you finish this one! Let’s just say whole ending of this book had me feeling a certain type of way!!

The side characters in this book are gold!! Avery, Hayden and her brother Xavier just elevate the story even more!! I love all of them and they just added so much good content this story! Avery might just be my favorite though as that girl is a firecracker!

Sarah Puckett continues to deliver a phenomenal performance with her narration of this series! She is perfectly casted for Adrianna and also has an incredible male voice for Kova while using a Russian accent as well! Her tone and voice just completely captures you into these characters and is such an easy and enjoyable listen!!

Amazing, Epic

Oh my goodness. I so need the next book in this series. You guys, it’s a must read. I love this age gap forbidden romances, it has all the feels. I’ve read the series and loved it from the beginning and now I’m listening to it and omg! My heart is breaking all over again. Love, love this book
