The story itself is excellent - Decide to finally get to know the Dune world at 39 after decades of people recommending it to me. I wasn’t deceived and will definitely move on to the rest of the saga.
The narration was very fluid and pleasant to listen to, with several voices which makes for a richer experience.
The only minor point is that characters didn’t always have the same voices - a character would speak with the voice of a secondary narrator and think with the voice of the main narrator. Combine this with several characters and it can be a tad confusing at times.
Even then I highly recommend this one.

nb :ce ressenti n'engage que moi. ;-)
je ne connaissais pas le livre et m'attendais à découvrir bcp de différences avec le film hélas on jurerait que le livre est une copie du scénario ...je n'irai pas plus loin dans la découverte de l'univers de Herbert ... et vous?

It is a wonderful book but sometimes they dont use the voice actors and it is annoying to asign a voice to a character in your mind only to have it then read by the narrator. Don't get me wrong, the narrator is good, but then you get used tohis voice for the characters and then boom! the actors voices again. It makes you think as if there were two of the same character. Kudos on the baron's voice actor.

Livre sympa à écouter. Dommage que les voix des différents acteurs ne soient utilisées que dans certains chapitres. Pour le reste du livre, un seul acteur joue tous les personnages (heureusement, il le fait bien)
