Weakest mc ever

By far the weakest main character ever. And too much inner monologue I can’t get past the first book it’s too hard.

One of the best box sets I’ve listened to in a long time!

Creatures of the Otherworld is a box set of stand-alone books with crossover characters but original storylines and new female MC’s all with dark hardships and trials that mold them into the badass heroines they will become. Totally epic and I loved each and every book! Forest, Emma, Tru and Tuesday are all exceptional hybrids of one fashion or another that spend a great board of their lives believing they have no magic m. Due to life threatening circumstances and sometimes unbearable hardships they endure, survive and thrive showing epic baddassery in the process and against almost impossible odds. I honestly can’t recommend it enough. I laughed so hard I cried. I also just cried at some of the injustice of what happens to them. And I marvel as the stories weaved together and well they were perfectly wonderful with endearing characters that simply cannot be ignored. I hope to see so much more of this world and these heroine’s as there is undoubtedly more to learn about them. Get it binge it and love it !!! You won’t be disappointed!

A Keeper

There are certain books that I'll release from my library immediately upon finishing it and those that I might let stick around for a little while. This one falls in the latter. The leading lady in each story was likable and had you rooting for them (and a sidekick or two). You got sassy, clever, tough, loyal, and funny to name just some of the characteristics that are specific to each woman. The one thing they do all share is a troubled/tragic past that makes them moreover the better to handle their uniqueness.
Lucky for me, I read these last month and a new book (but continuing storyline, kinda) will be released later this month!

Horrible cruel men meet stupid helpless women

If you like the kind of books high school girls swoon over, here you go. I didn't like it, but I respect the effort. It was interesting seeing the "Down with the Patriarchy" rebellion mixed with the swooning over men, even ones who tortured the MC till near death. Apparently the audience who gave this a 4.6 over all rating loves giant Adonis like men, who are horrible to women, and women, who are so incredibly stupid that the obvious things that can keep them alive, are just beyond their grasp without a man to explain it all to them. On the upside the world is basically a supernatural wild west where there seem to be no rules, except the law of Claw and Fang. The lack of any accountability or reasonable expectations of reprisal is simply mind blowing.

I am glad Brogan has found her audience, but I had to stop after the first part of book two. The recently nearly tortured to death main character swooning over her tormentor was just too much. I mean sure, he gave her PTSD, ruined her body, left her scared and broken, but...*Gasp his chest!* I think Brogan knows that's stupid, she kept trying to show the confusion and anger, but somehow she still ends up clutching his bare chest in the rain.

I think this writer has talent, I just hope this is a pen name she uses because this stuff sells, while the serious work is still in development.

Absolutely loved all 4 stories!

I thoroughly enjoyed each story while each is an individual story I love how the characters cross each other's paths. It has lots of action and a great love story in each one without all the sex some people put in there books which I usually have to skip over. I'm happy to say I didn't have to skip one page. She tells great stories. The narrator does a great job she really brings each character to life! Each story is complete but she has it were any of the characters could continue in there own story. I know one will have there next book coming out soon Rebel unicorn which I'm looking forward to hearing. I loved each story and I recommend this collection of stories highly. Looking forward to all of Ms. Thomas stories.

Love listening to all these books and plan to re-listen again. The narrator did an amazing job as well.

A shifter romance that will have you swooning!

I absolutely loved this series but most of all the first book! The narrator kept me awake and excited, but every single story was amazing, and I love how she tied in so many of the previous characters!

What a Wounderful Read/Listen

This is the second time I have listened to this Series. Once yrs ago and again this past week, and I just adored this even more the second time around. All 4 books are separate and interconnected in that all the people and creatures are living in the same town at the same time. Narrator once again does a Wonderful job with the various characters voices and the Entire Storyline!!!
I Highly recommend this Boxed set.

I loved it

I really loved the books and wish there was more . They are so great. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and 4 daughters. All my daughters love animals.
