À propos de ce contenu audio

The stakes are higher. The witches are deadlier. And the romance is red-hot. The eagerly anticipated sequel to the New York Times and Indiebound bestseller Serpent & Dove is perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas and is an instant New York Times bestseller!

Lou, Reid, Coco, and Ansel are on the run from coven, kingdom, and church—fugitives with nowhere to hide.

To survive, they need allies. Strong ones. But as Lou becomes increasingly desperate to save those she loves, she turns to a darker side of magic that may cost Reid the one thing he can’t bear to lose. Bound to her always, his vows were clear: where Lou goes, he will go; and where she stays, he will stay.

Until death do they part.

Don't miss Gods & Monsters, the spellbinding conclusion of this epic trilogy!

I'm not sure I'll make it to the end of the audiobook and that's a shame because I love the story and Saskia Maarleveld is a really good reader (though her voice doesn't "fit" with how I imagine Lou sounding), but Holter Graham's reading is just the worst in this book. The way he reads is not fluid at all which makes it really hard to get into the story when Reid's chapters come up. Which is quite often.
I don't remember his reading being a problem in the first book so this came as a bad surprise when I started listening to this book. Maybe as time goes by, I get pickier when it comes to narrators.
Anyway, other people might not be so bothered by the way he reads but it's the case for me and the listening experience was definitely impacted here in a negative way.
That's not to say the story is not worth it though and it'd be a real shame if people skipped this book because of one rusty narrator. I hope he does better reading book 3.

The story is great but the male narrator sucks

The beginning was a bit long, but the rest of the story was enthralling. The two narrators are still great, their performance is stunning, especially with the new characters' voices. I'm eager to dive into the last book.

Very good sequel
