Hardwicke Circus
became the first UK band to tour Ukraine since the war began, embarking on their “Songs of Freedom” tour. They started the journey in the Czech Republic and then headed into Ukraine, performing in cities like Lviv, Ternopil, Vinnytsia, Dnipro, Kharkiv (including at a military base where they recorded a live album), before concluding with a show in Kyiv.

The tour isn’t just about music—they also ran workshops for Ukrainian youth and donated all proceeds to Mission Ukraine, a UK‑Ukrainian charity delivering aid to conflict‑affected areas Lead singer Jonny Foster described it as “our conscience taking us there,” while drummer Tom Foster emphasized that the purpose of solidarity and connection outweighed personal safety concerns.

ABC News featured them on News Breakfast, including an interview with Australian keyboardist Conor Morrissey and frontman Jonny Foster, reflecting the significance of their mission live from Kyiv

This tour marks a powerful moment in cultural solidarity—bringing live UK rock to Ukraine amid ongoing conflict, supporting local communities, and spotlighting the healing power of music.
